Next Level Scouting Expo!

Discover Leadership, Adventure, and Exciting Opportunities! Looking for new adventures and ways to build leadership skills? Join us at the Vienna Community Center on May 3rd to explore incredible Scouting America programs for all teens and young adults ages 14-20 — no prior Scouting experience needed! This casual, come-and-go expo (open from 2:15 to 3:45 PM) is the perfect chance to learn about Venturing, Sea Scouts, and National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) — all designed to help teens develop confidence, make new friends, and experience once-in-a-lifetime adventures. Youth members will be there to answer your questions and share their experiences!

What is Venturing?
Venturing is an exciting, co-ed program where teens take on outdoor adventures like rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking while learning teamwork and leadership skills. It’s a great way to meet new people, try new experiences, and build confidence — all in a supportive, fun environment.

What is Sea Scouts?
If you love the water, boats, or adventure, Sea Scouts is for you! This program gives teens hands-on experience in sailing, navigation, and water safety while teaching valuable leadership and teamwork skills. Whether you're interested in a future on the water or just want to explore lakes and oceans in a whole new way, Sea Scouts is an exciting way to do it!

What is National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)?
NYLT is a fun and immersive leadership camp where teens develop real-world skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Open to anyone in a Scouting program, NYLT provides hands-on leadership training through interactive activities and outdoor challenges, preparing participants for success in school, careers, and life.
