At HER Therapy and DVB Coaching, Licensed Professional Counselor Dawn Van Berkel helps women in midlife and parents of neurodivergent kids find calm, connection, and confidence through therapy and coaching. Based in Loudoun County, VA, Dawn specializes in perimenopause mental health, trauma recovery, relationship transitions, divorce, and the emotional challenges of the empty nest.
HER Therapy supports women over 40 as they navigate hormonal, emotional, and identity shifts with a compassionate, mind-body approach that integrates emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and self-discovery.
DVB Coaching extends that expertise to parents of neurodivergent children, helping them reduce overwhelm, strengthen communication, and create more peaceful home dynamics. Through individualized coaching, parents learn to set and reach realistic goals—from improving daily routines to building emotional resilience and connection with their child.
